Planning Applications

Astill Planning Consultants offer a professional and comprehensive service that is tailored to the specific requirements of our clients’ projects.

We manage applications throughout the full planning process and advise on the best strategy to pursue to maximise the chances of gaining approval.

Planning Appeals

Astill advise on the most suitable planning appeals procedure to pursue and will manage the whole process. This involves producing the necessary documentation and evidence that is required to challenge the weaknesses of a planning refusal, and to construct a robust planning argument in favour of approval. Where it is necessary, we will also represent clients at hearings and public inquiries.

Master Planning

Astill Planning offer a professional and comprehensive masterplanning service .

Masterplanning is an integral part of the planning process. Astill Planning embraces both large and small scale developments, including strategies for regeneration and detailed design. The service we offer includes initial planning appraisals of sites, detailed site layouts, development frameworks, design statements and sustainability guidance.

Town Planning

Our team of Chartered Town Planners manage applications throughout the full planning process and advise on the best strategy to pursue to maximise the chances of gaining approval. Our experience of working in a variety of sectors means that we are well-equipped to successfully deliver the desired results on a diverse range of projects.

Heritage

Working with heritage specialists, Astill can advise in respect of heritage issues, including providing specialist planning input with regards to historic buildings, historic landscapes and archaeology.

Architecture

We are a competitive design-based practice of architects with over 30 years of expertise represented in our specialist team.

Our national client base ranges from large-scale developers to individual home owners, to whom we offer architectural services; from design consultation and planning to project completion.

Community Consultation

Depending on the scale and nature of your project, it may be necessary to consult the local community on your proposals before submitting a planning application. Where this is required, Astill Planning Consultants promote, organise and manage the community consultation events on behalf of our clients
